Baptist Health is seeking a part-time Paramedic to join the Transport EMS team at Baptist Health Hamburg & Lexington in Kentucky. You will provide advanced life support care under medical direction and transport patients as needed, ensuring readiness of ambulances and adherence to protocols.

Minimum qualifications include an active Kentucky Paramedic license, BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Active Paramedic license through the Kentucky Board of EMS.
BLS for Healthcare Providers issued by AHA or ARC.
PALS & ACLS certifications.
Other certifications and specialty training as required by the Kentucky Board of EMS.
Valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

Provide patient care within department protocols and state scope of practice.
Recognize, respond to, and communicate changes in patient condition.
Complete all required documentation and patient care reports within required timeframe.
Provide care appropriate to the emergency population and maintain the environment of care.
Perform ambulance transportation services within the scope of practice of a Paramedic.
Set priorities for the transport of multiple patients.
Assure resources and coordinate plan of delivery.
Maintain knowledge of each vehicle in the fleet and operate safely.
Ensure ambulance is clean, stocked, and response ready at start/end of each shift and before every service call.
Ensure proper vehicle maintenance and ALS gear readiness and utilization.
