Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• State Paramedic License required
• State Driver’s License required
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications required
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action using Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills with EMS equipment and procedures to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care and reassure them.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image and relations.
