Oakton College in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Paramedic Instructor to direct operations and provide instructional support in the EMT-P skills lab. You will supervise students, document progress, and collaborate with the Paramedic Coordinator to ensure high-quality practice.

Candidates must hold an IDPH Paramedic license with Lead Instructor licensure or NAEMSE Part I, BLS certification, and experience teaching EMT-B/ EMT-P.

Qualifications

• Current IDPH Paramedic license.
• Lead Instructor licensure and/or NAEMSE Instructor Part I.
• AHA BLS Instructor Certification required.
• Experience with EMT-B/EMT-P training.
• Strong communication and computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Direct operational activities and provide instructional support in the EMT-P skills lab.
• Supervise students and document progress in the laboratory.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all skills lab equipment and inventory.
• Assist with equipment orders and manage supply budget.
• Participate in EMT curriculum meetings as resource faculty.
• Prepare supplies and documentation for EMT-P classes and testing.
