Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in the paramedic field or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
  • A Vermont Paramedic License or Vermont Registered Nurse License with EMS experience is required.
  • AHA instructor status required for ACLS and PALS courses.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Team player with multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Teach EMS-2010 Lab - Principles & Practices of Paramedicine I Lab.
  • Deliver a flipped-classroom model with intensive laboratory days each week.
  • Assess foundational knowledge in anatomy, physiology and pharmacology.
  • Supervise clinical and field experiences for students.
