Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a PART TIME Customer Service Specialist to work at Store 708159 in Gilroy, CA. You will assist customers in person and by phone, determine needs, present suitable Sherwin-Williams products, and help maintain store presentation and inventory.

You will be expected to handle cash, support deliveries as needed, and stay up-to-date with product features to ensure customer satisfaction and store standards. Previous paint retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and showroom presentations.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Learn product features to discuss available options with customers.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
