Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Valencia, CA is seeking a part-time Store Associate to help retail and wholesale customers find the right paint solutions. You will deliver friendly service, answer questions, ring up sales, stock shelves, tint and mix products, and ensure displays are neat and inviting.

You will also assist with deliveries and maintain inventory accuracy while upholding store standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Stock shelves and set up displays
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications
• Load/unload delivery trucks
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Suggest ways to improve sales
