Community Health Systems is seeking a Registered Nurse for PACU at our Granger Surgery Center. This part-time role focuses on delivering high-quality post-anesthesia care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, and patient education, with emphasis on safety and infection control. Schedule aligns with Monday–Friday operations and patient needs in Granger, IN.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations required.
• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing and active RN licensure.
• Knowledge of nursing processes, patient assessment, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care per policies and orders.
• Perform thorough assessments and document findings accurately.
• Administer prescribed meds and monitor for adverse effects.
• Collaborate with care team to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about post-procedure care.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
• Prepare the OR/PACU area and monitor vitals post-op.
• Support life-saving interventions and post-anesthesia care.
