Klondike Cheese Co. is seeking a Packaging team member to support production in our cheese and yogurt plant. This part-time role involves loading products, operating packaging equipment, and performing quality checks in a fast-paced dairy setting.

Candidates should be able to read instructions, work with numbers, and lift up to 50 pounds while standing for extended periods. Teamwork and attention to detail are essential in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing or food processing is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and follow directions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load fresh products or packaging materials into packaging equipment.
• Operate packaging machines and complete product quality checks.

Packaging team member responsibilities include activities such as loading fresh products or packaging materials into packaging equipment, operating packaging machines, completing product quality checks, inspecting labels for accuracy, verifying and documenting product codes and ensuring materials are correct, completing packaging paperwork correctly, palletizing products and moving pallets, and other related duties.Schedules:Part-time schedules vary – current openings are for morning, afternoons, or evening shifts!Qualifications / Physical Abilities:Previous experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred but not required.Ability to read and interpret work instructions and follow directions.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.Ability to work as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Employees are required to stand the duration of the shift, with frequent and repetitive bending, stooping, turning, reaching, grasping and lifting up to 50 pounds.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and controls.Constantly required to talk and hear.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus naturally or with correction.Please note that these physical requirements are representative but not exhaustive.
