Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is hiring a Part-Time Package Handler to load, unload, and sort freight accurately and efficiently for quick delivery. The role emphasizes precise scanning, orderly stacking in trailers, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles.
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes.
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state.
• Stack freight into trailers and routes to prevent damage and maximize space.
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed.
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
