Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Package Handler to load, unload, and sort freight quickly and accurately in our warehouse environment. The role supports efficient daily operations with a start time of 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Prioritize safety, accuracy, and timeliness in handling packages and maintaining a clean facility. Applicants should be at least 16 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read labels quickly and work independently.
• Must be 16 years of age; high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles.
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes.
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state.
• Stack freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently.
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed.
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
