Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Package Handler to load, unload, and sort freight accurately and quickly. The role starts around 4:00 PM Monday through Friday and offers an hourly wage of $18.00–$20.00 depending on experience.

Responsibilities include scanning labels, sorting by destination, and stacking freight efficiently while maintaining a clean warehouse. The position requires reliability and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles.
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes.
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state.
• Stack freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently.
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed.
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
