Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Package Handler in Saint Cloud, MN. You will load, unload, and sort freight accurately to support quick delivery. The role requires good reading of labels, teamwork, and reliability in a fast-paced warehouse.

Shift options include Mon-Fri 5:00PM–10:30PM or Tue-Sat 4:00AM–8:00AM, with pay of $18.00–$20.00 per hour based on experience. Must be at least 16 and have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles.
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes.
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state.
• Stack freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently.
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed.
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.

The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years we have expanded throughout the Midwest.

Job Summary

The Part-Time Package Handler will load, unload, and sort freight accurately and in a timely manner to ensure quick delivery.

Hours and Wages

• Available Shifts:
  • Monday-Friday, 5:00PM-10:30PM shift or,
  • Tuesday-Saturday, 4:00AM-8:00AM shift
• $18.00-20.00 per hour, based on experience

Duties And Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state
• Stack freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education And Experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
