Spee Dee Delivery is a family-owned and operated company established in 1978 by Donald and Sylvia Weeres. Our core business involves standard, next-day, ground delivery. The company headquarters and main sort facility are located in St. Cloud, MN. We employ over 1,800 employees across the Midwest.

Job Summary

The Part-Time Package Handler will load, unload, and sort freight accurately and efficiently to ensure quick delivery.

Hours and Wages

• Monday-Friday, starting at 4:30 PM
• $16.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles
• Scan package barcode labels during unloading for tracking
• Sort packages by zip code, city, or state
• Stack freight into trailers and routes to prevent damage and optimize space
• Wash fleet vehicles as needed to maintain company image
• Perform light custodial duties to keep the warehouse clean and safe
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• At least 16 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight
• Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Work with various types of freight, including hazardous materials, perishable food, alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
