Job Summary

Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment by performing duties that meet quality and productivity standards. Responsibilities include:

1. Comparing identifying information and verifying shipment details against bills of lading, invoices, and orders.
2. Assembling and packing products, attaching shipping labels, and preparing cartons and skids.
3. Unpacking, inspecting, and routing incoming shipments.
4. Emptying machine hoppers and routing raw materials to appropriate centers.
5. Loading and unloading semi-trailers.
6. Maintaining positive relations with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
7. Adhering to safety standards and company policies.
8. Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of shipping/receiving experience.
• Forklift experience and ability to maneuver loads in tight spaces.
• Ability to meet quality standards and perform basic math tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands
