St. John’s University is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant laboratory educator for the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Program.

This hourly position involves hands-on instruction across multiple lab courses, guided by the course coordinator, and requires current NCCPA certification and NY PA licensure or eligibility. You will facilitate anatomy, health history, physical diagnosis, and surgical procedures labs, delivering case-based learning, feedback, and assessment support to

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ARC-PA-accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Current New York State Physician Assistant license or eligibility.
• Current clinical knowledge relevant to the laboratory content.
• Ability to demonstrate clinical and procedural skills accurately.

Responsibilities

• Attend and provide instruction during assigned laboratory sessions.
• Review objectives and materials before each session.
• Prepare to teach and demonstrate the skills assigned by the course coordinator.
• Provide small-group and individual instruction to PA students.
• Demonstrate clinical, diagnostic, and procedural skills using current professional standards.
• Offer timely, constructive feedback to students.
