Qualifications

• Must be able to work 12-hour overnight shifts (6pm–6am), 2 shifts per week.
• Must be able to work various shifts on weekdays and weekends as operations are 24/7.
• Proficient computer skills are a must.
• Ability to work in a team, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a Drug Screen and FBI Background check.
• Dispatch and customer service and first responder experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with partnering agencies to expedite response to incidents and promote quick clearance.
• Monitor and manage roads using customized software for the FDOT.
• Dispatch Road Rangers and work with cutting-edge technology including traffic signals, CV, freeway management, arterial roadway management, express lanes, and more.
