Job summary

Timbers Kiawah is seeking an overnight security/guest services companion to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction and safety at our boutique property. You will manage the overnight owner/guest experience, patrol all areas, and coordinate communications with management during emergencies.

Key duties include maintaining cleanliness of common areas, assisting guests and staff, and enforcing a respectful, harmonious workplace.

Qualifications

• Trustworthy individual.
• Use initiative and independent judgment within guidelines.
• Basic record keeping practices and incident reporting.
• Knowledge of department policies and procedures.
• Clear business English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• Able to interact with diverse individuals in person and on the phone.

Responsibilities

• Oversees owner/guest experience during the overnight shift.
• Cleans common area of property (Sweep, mop, remove trash, clean restrooms, etc.).
• Patrols all areas of the property overnight.
• Forwards main property phone line to cellular phone during patrols.
• Attends to any emergency situation on-property immediately and informs senior management.
• Assists owners, guests, and employees during the overnight hours.
• Escorts any unwelcome person from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation.
• Responds to questions and complaints from owners/guests.
• Demonstrates courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with owners/guests and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.

This role will ensure that Timbers Kiawah Service standards are exceeded as it pertains to the overall guest experience and is responsible for maintaining professional communication between Timbers Kiawah Owners and Department Managers.
