Job description

Bell Attendant

Provide prompt, courteous service to guests and familiarize all incoming guests to the Stein Collection. Establish high standards of conduct to maintain a professional image to our guests. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift at least 50lbs. Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Essential Functions

• Welcome guests sincerely and make their stay as enjoyable as possible. Effectively and seriously respond and deal with the guests needs and requests.
• Be fully aware of daily functions in the hotel. Knowledgeable of surrounding area’s attractions and points of interests.
• Assist guests at check-in and checkout. Tag, store, and distribute baggage.
• Orient guests to the Lodge and facilities.
• Show rooms and property to visitors.
• Delivery of items such as faxes, messages, packages, and flowers to the rooms as needed.
• Maintain fires in the fireplaces in the main entrance and main lobby.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional work area (including bell stand, room 11, and entire front entrance in the garage).
• Have working knowledge of PBX console and procedures.
• Respond to all emergency situations, and know all the safety and emergency procedures and how to act upon them.
• Demonstrate an outgoing and pleasant attitude with all the guests and employees.
• Take all necessary measures to help the guests and fellow employees.
