Job summary

West Kentucky Community and Technical College (WKCTC) is seeking a motivated Part-Time Recruitment Assistant to support the Workforce Connectors program within Workforce Solutions. Working approximately 20–24 hours per week, the role focuses on recruiting and engaging young adults ages 18–24 and connecting them with education, training, credentialing, work-based learning, and employment opportunities.

The Recruitment Assistant will spend significant time in the community building relationships,

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the program service area and participate in evening/community events.

Responsibilities

• Actively recruit eligible young adults ages 18–24 into Workforce Connectors.
• Conduct community outreach and represent WKCTC Workforce Solutions at career fairs and events.
• Build relationships with community organizations, employers, career centers, schools, libraries, and referral partners.
• Develop creative strategies for reaching young adults not connected to traditional education resources.
• Follow up with prospective participants and assist enrollment into the program.
• Support participant orientations, workshops, and other program activities.
• Track recruitment activities, referrals, participant interest, and enrollment outcomes.
• Assist with program documentation, scheduling, reporting, and other administrative needs.
