Job summary

The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) invites applications for a part-time Outreach Coordinator to support an NSF-funded grant, working approximately 7 hours per week with an expected term from October 15, 2026 to September 15, 2027.

The role collaborates with the Career Center, the Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships, and EPIIC faculty to catalog partnerships, engage local companies, and promote outreach across campus and social channels, including sponsorships and research opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison to the Career Center and the Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships to catalog and centralize existing partnerships
• Work with EPIIC faculty fellows to scale initiatives across the Schools of Science and Engineering
• Interface with local companies to uncover challenges they need solved and determine how we can help them solve them; e.g. senior project sponsorships, class projects, research, etc.
• Benchmark our outreach efforts with other institutions
• Collaborate with School and College staff to promote our work on social media channels
• Collaborate with faculty to secure corporate sponsored research projects
