Job summary

Advocate Health, in collaboration with Atrium Floyd Medical Center's retail pharmacy, seeks a part-time PRN Pharmacist for the outpatient clinic setting. Working first shift, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, you will oversee safe pharmaceutical care, with a pay range of $54.90–$82.35 per hour.

Licensure in the applicable state and immunization certification are required; experience not required. The role includes counseling patients, evaluating orders, promoting formulary adherence, and mentoring pharmacy

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Doctorate in pharmacy from ACPE-accredited school or NABP FPGEC credential.
• Licensure/Certification: Licensed or eligible for reciprocity; immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification as applicable.
• Experience: No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and designs medication therapy regimens based on literature.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on medication therapy, adherence, handling and administration.
• Interprets medication orders and prescriptions accurately and reviews safety.
• Supports formulary adherence and medication-use process; assists with non-formulary medications.
• Precepting and mentoring pharmacy students and teammates as assigned.
