Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist for the Outpatient Rehab Team in Bloomington, IN. This 32-hour/week role focuses on restoring function, reducing pain, and preventing disability through direct patient care, supervision of assistants, and collaboration with the care team.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (or a pre-2016 BA/MA in PT), an active Indiana PT license, and BLS certification. ALS may be required depending on unit policy.

Qualifications

• Requires Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy prior to 2016.
• Requires current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
• Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability.
• Supervises physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students.
• Participates in related activities in support of patient care and department operations.
