Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate and treat patients in East Orlando. You will develop individualized plans, document progress, and educate families while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires an OT license (Florida), BLS, and strong communication skills; bilingual Spanish is preferred. Schedule is weekdays, ~20 hours weekly at 7975 Lake Underhill Rd, Orlando, FL 32822.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred.
• Active OT license in Florida (or eligible).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using standard techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with goals and frequency.
• Document accurately and timely using objective terminology.
• Educate patients and caregivers, including discharge planning.
• Oversee support staff and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Maintain clinical competencies and participate in performance improvement.
