Job summary

Sentara Health Plans is seeking a part-time Outpatient Clinical Dietitian at Sentara Louise Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA. This 16-hour-per-week role focuses on nutrition assessment and counseling in an outpatient setting, with flexible weekdays and first shift (days).

The successful candidate will be a Registered Dietitian, hold a Bachelor's in Dietetics (ACEND path if needed), and obtain BLS within 90 days; RD credentialing within six months.

Qualifications

• Nutrition assessment in outpatient settings
• Group counseling for diverse populations
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals or groups for nutrition assessment and counseling in outpatient clinic
• Provide nutrition guidance for diabetes, bariatric surgery, malnutrition, GI, and other conditions
• Represent Sentara in health fairs, community outreach
• Collaborate with providers for referrals and clinical data
