You will perform nutrition assessments, develop care plans, conduct individual and group counseling, and participate in community outreach and health fairs. Strong RD credentialing timelines apply; BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• BLS is required to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• RD must be obtained within 6 months of hire; verification statements required for candidates awaiting RD credentialing.
• If Bachelor’s Degree is in major other than Dietetics, must complete an ACEND accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics.
• NBCOT certification is required within 6 months of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform nutrition assessment of outpatient patients with acute or chronic disease.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans based on assessments.
• Provide individual and group counseling, culinary nutrition, and community outreach.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for referrals and weekly rounds.
