Sentara Louise Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA seeks a part-time Registered Dietitian (16 hours per week, days) to join the Outpatient Nutrition team. You will conduct nutrition assessments for adults with conditions such as diabetes, bariatric surgery, sports medicine, malnutrition, and GI disorders in an outpatient setting.

You will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team for referrals and care planning, participate in health fairs and community outreach, and help promote Sentara's

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or ACEND-approved program.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Registered Dietitian credential within 6 months of hire.

Mansioni

• Meet with individuals or groups in outpatient clinic for nutrition assessment.
• Counsel on nutrition for diabetes, bariatric surgery, sports, malnutrition, GI conditions.
• Represent Sentara at health fairs, media outreach, and community presentations.
• Collaborate with providers for referrals and to review clinical data.
