SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in New York is seeking a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor (HS) / Attending Otolaryngologist. The successful candidate will coordinate Residents and Medical Students in Otolaryngology and sub-specialties, serve on institutional councils, and participate in the department Executive Committee and night calls across affiliated hospitals.

They will also provide attending coverage for adult and pediatric consultations.

Qualifications

• MD Degree or equivalent.
• Graduate of an ACGME-approved Residency Program.
• New York State Medical Licensure.
• Board Certified Otolaryngologist.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate Residents and Medical Students in Otolaryngology and sub-specialties.
• Serve on Institutional councils and committees and other assignments as directed by Department Chair.
• Participate as a member of the Department Executive Committee.
• Attend required Departmental conferences.
• Conduct research that leads to publication and presentation.
• Assist with department Q&A programs.
• Develop a hospital-based practice.
• Participate with other department physicians in night call at all affiliated Hospitals.
• Provide attending coverage for Adult and Pediatric consultations.
