Job summary

The candidate should hold an MD with an ACGME-accredited residency, NYS medical license, and board certification or eligible status in Otolaryngology. A dynamic, academically oriented environment is offered.

Qualifications

• MD degree and graduation from an ACGME-accredited residency program.
• New York State Medical Doctor Licensure is required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Otolaryngologist.

Responsibilities

• Provide call coverage on weekdays and weekends.
• Coordinate residents and medical students in Otolaryngology and subspecialties.
• Serve on departmental councils and committees and other assignments as directed.
• Participate in the Department Executive Committee.
• Attend required departmental conferences.
• Conduct research leading to publication and presentation.
• Assist with department Q&A programs.
• Participate with other department physicians in night call at affiliated hospitals.
