Job summary

Parrish Home Health in Titusville, Florida is seeking a Part-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our caring home health team. You will provide occupational therapy to patients under the supervision of an OT to restore function and independence.

Required: current OTA licensure in the state, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred: CPR certification; ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
• CPR certification preferred or within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to patients under the supervision of the OT.
• Follow state laws and plan of care for home care OT activities.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses and changes to the nurse and physician.
• Instruct patients, families, and care teams in therapy within scope.
• Function in diverse home environments and with diverse patient populations.
