Job summary

Parrish Home Health, part of the Optum family, is hiring a Part-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Titusville, Florida team.

As an OTA, you will provide occupational therapy to patients to restore them to their fullest physical ability, following the supervising OT's plan of care and state laws. You will document patient progress and collaborate with nurses and families to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver''s license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and plan of care defined by supervising OT.
• Instruct and aid patients in therapy within scope of OTA and state laws.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to nurse supervisor/physician.
• Educate patient, family, caregiver, and team members on therapy areas within OTA scope.
• Maintain ability to work in diverse home environments.
