Job summary

Fisher-Titus Health in Norwalk, OH seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) to provide occupational therapy services under supervision, following an established plan of care.

Graduate of an accredited OTA program with COTA/L licensure and CPR certification is required; prior rehab experience is preferred. Part-time schedule with comprehensive benefits is available, supporting patient-focused care across the rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved, accredited Associate Degree Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L).
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Implements the occupational therapy plan of care as developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provides therapeutic interventions appropriate to the patient’s diagnosis, age, and functional level.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in treatment programs and documents understanding and progress.
• Progresses patient treatment activities and develops home exercise programs within the plan of care.
• Documents patient status and progression toward outcomes at each visit with objective measures.
• Submits accurate documentation and billing for each patient encounter.
• Provides skilled therapy services within payer authorizations and regulatory guidelines.
