Fisher-Titus Health System is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) to support rehabilitative care in Norwalk, OH. Under supervision of a Licensed Occupational Therapist, you will implement therapy plans, provide interventions, and educate patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, progressing activities, and ensuring compliant billing and care delivery within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an approved, accredited Associate Degree Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L).
• CPR certification required.
• Prior clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.

• Implements the occupational therapy plan of care as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provides therapeutic interventions appropriate to the patient’s diagnosis, age, and functional level.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in treatment programs, precautions, and use of equipment; documents understanding and demonstration of instructions.
• Progresses patient treatment activities and develops home exercise programs within the plan of care.
• Documents patient status and progression toward outcomes at each visit using objective measures.
