Job summary

The Weston Group in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our rehab team on a part-time basis. You will evaluate and treat residents, help develop, recover and maintain daily living and work skills, and deliver client-centered therapy in collaborative settings.

The role emphasizes safety, education for clients and families, adaptive equipment recommendations, and ongoing documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (state-specific)
• Graduate of an accredited OT program
• Strong communication and client-centered approach
• Ability to adapt to varied patient needs

Responsibilities

• Address client's aspects of performance to support engagement
• Select and adapt treatment models per case
• Apply interventions to maximize ADL/IADL safety and performance
• Teach clients new task approaches and breakdown of activities
• Assess home/environments and advise alterations
• Recommend adaptive equipment and train its use
• Guide and educate family members and caregivers
• Observe, report progress and document data
• Regularly follow up with clients
