Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role serves a skilled rehab program within a CCRC, supporting about 10 residents with tailored therapy plans.

You will assess, treat, and educate residents, document progress, and collaborate with a supportive team. Licensed OT in Alabama required; 25 hours per week, pay range $45-$49 per hour, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Alabama or license eligible.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills; able to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Create personalized treatment plans to meet goals and improve daily activities with adaptive equipment usage.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with standards.
• Advocate for clients and help them access community resources and accommodations.
