Job summary

HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for the Rehabilitation department in Springfield, IL. This part-time role supports the plan of care for patients at St.

John's Hospital and involves day shifts with a focus on collaborative, interdisciplinary care. The successful candidate will hold an Associate degree from an accredited program, be state-licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, and maintain BLS (or complete within 90 days).

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program that meets licensure requirements in the state of practice.
• Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Treats all assigned patients and executes treatment plans as outlined by plan of care.
• Serves as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and for self-professional advancement.
• Performs other duties related to care, development of therapy program services, and engagement of interdisciplinary teams.
