Job summary

Mt. Ascutney is seeking a part-time certified occupational therapy assistant to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. The COTA will work with patients in inpatient rehab and acute/swing units, with opportunities for advancement through a clinical ladder program and associated compensation.

Qualifications include graduation from an approved OTA program, effective oral communication, and Vermont licensure with BLS certification. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of OTA.
• Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and overall professional behavior.
• Must be a new graduate or an experienced therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered treatment for hospitalized individuals in inpatient rehab and acute/swing units.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with the health care team to deliver optimal care.
