Job summary

Mt. Ascutney is seeking a part-time certified occupational therapy assistant to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. The COTA will work with patients in inpatient rehab and acute/swing units, with opportunities for advancement through a clinical ladder program and associated compensation.

Qualifications include graduation from an approved OTA program, effective oral communication, and Vermont licensure with BLS certification. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

The COTA will see patients on both the inpatient rehab and acute/swing units. MAHHC offers a clinical ladder program recognizing expertise and providing opportunities for advancement, with associated compensation. Responsibilities include patient-centered treatment for hospitalized people with a variety of diagnoses, maintaining appropriate electronic medical records, and working cooperatively with other members of the health care team to provide optimal care.

Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

Current licensure in the State of Vermont. BLS certification required.
