Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care is seeking a qualified physician to oversee diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries. This part-time role involves 1 day per week at our Elkton, MD office, with a focus on returning patients to work efficiently and safely.

The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO, board certification in Interventional Pain/PM&R/Orthopedic Surgery/Neurology/Sports Medicine, and an unrestricted Maryland license. DEA and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification (BC/BE) in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology, or Sports Medicine.
• Unrestricted MD license to practice in Maryland.
• DEA license.
• BLS/ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury.
• Recommend tests to determine extent of injury and appropriate treatment.
• Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and aligns with ESG goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
