Job summary
Excelsia Injury Care in Virginia seeks an experienced physician to oversee diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries. You will prepare patients for return to work and recommend tests to determine injury extent and appropriate treatment.
MD/DO from an accredited medical school is required with BC/BE in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology, or Sports Medicine. An unrestricted license to practice medicine in Virginia is needed, with BLS/ACLS and a DEA
Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
- BC/BE in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology, or Sports Medicine.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where work will be performed.
- BLS/ACLS certification.
- DEA license.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
- Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury.
- Recommend tests to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.
