Job summary

AtlantiCare's ambulatory orthopedic practice seeks a Part Time Cast Technician to apply and remove casts and braces, assist with minor procedures, and educate patients and caregivers. You will work under licensed providers to promote safe, compassionate care for all ages.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, OTC or CCT preferred, and BLS within 90 days. Part-time 24 hours weekly with potential for growth in a supportive orthopedic team.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent; must read/speak/write English.
• OTC or CCT certification preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire/transfer.
• Prior orthopedic casting/brace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply, remove, and modify casts (plaster/fiberglass) per orders.
• Apply/remove braces, splints, immobilization devices; assess fit and safety.
• Assist with wound care, suture removal, and dressing changes.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate with Orthotic team.
