Job summary

Rothenberg Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician II to deliver a positive clinical experience while adhering to policies and state regulations under supervision of an Orthodontist. You will assist with appliances, take records, manage patient flow, and support remote monitoring—educating patients about orthodontic care.

Strong multitasking and communication are essential. The role includes sterilization, instrument preparation, and involvement in local marketing and community events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year orthodontic experience or 6 months as Smile Doctor’s Orthodontic Clinician IDental Assistant certification if state requires.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances and taking full records under supervision.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under supervision of an Orthodontist.
• Assist with final checks and patient flow management.
• Administer remote monitoring dashboard: review/massage patient scans, triage notifications and respond to messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory per protocols.
• Support local store marketing and community events.
• Adhere to infection-control policies.
