Allied Instructional in the Atlanta area is seeking a Part-time Orientation and Mobility Specialist to join our team of independent contractors. The role is itinerant, serving local school divisions with 10-15 hours per week.

The successful candidate will hold a Professional Certification in Orientation and Mobility and will help develop and implement IEPs for students with visual impairments within a school setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Professional Certification and/or licensure in Orientation and Mobility.
• Experience preferred but not required for entry level position.
• Part-time role with 10-15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with visual impairments.
• Develop and implement IEPs specific to visual impairments.
• Collaborate with school staff and service providers to deliver services.
• Provide training and consultation to teachers on mobility needs.
