Job summary

Adjunct Lecturer - Introductory Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry at Benedictine University’s Mesa campus for Spring 2027. In-person teaching of two 8-week courses in the Physical Sciences Department, serving Allied Health-Nutrition majors.

Applicants should have a Master’s in Chemistry or Biochemistry; Ph.D. preferred. Compensation is per contact hour; $1400 with terminal degree or $1200 without; duties include training and compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Ability to teach Introductory Organic Chemistry and Introduction to Biochemistry at undergraduate level.
• Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred; college teaching experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach two 8-week courses in Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Mesa campus.
• Deliver in-person instruction for Allied Health-Nutrition majors during Spring 2027.
