Job summary

LivaNova, a global medtech leader, seeks an Operating Room Support Specialist for a part-time, field-based role. You will join the VNS Therapy team, provide care in the OR, and collaborate with neurosurgeons and nurses to support case coverage for the FDA-approved VNS system.

Travel is limited with occasional overnight stays; training on the Vagus Nerve Stimulator is provided at our Houston corporate office. Prior OR experience or nursing background highly considered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to project a positive image in a healthcare setting.
• Proficient with MS Office software and computer literacy.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and ability to interact in the OR.
• Maintain immunizations required for healthcare employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide OR coverage for VNS implantations and intraoperative support.
• Assist OR staff with VNS diagnostics, troubleshooting and programming.
• Travel to hospital facilities as needed; limited overnight stays may occur.
