Responsibilities

• Assist with operating room turnover and room setup to promote efficient patient flow and on-time surgical starts.
• Prepare operating rooms for procedures; ensure equipment and supplies are clean and ready.
• Clean, inspect, and maintain equipment according to infection prevention and safety standards.
• Report equipment concerns and notify leadership of issues.
• Follow infection prevention, PPE policies, and privacy standards; assist with patient transport and positioning as needed.
• Support surgical team with pre-operative preparation and blood product retrieval as directed.
• Participate in orientation and mandatory education; support unit activities as needed.
