Job summary

MyEyeDr. in Delaware is seeking a part-time Optometrist (OD) to join our team, delivering patient-centered eye care in a modern, retail-inspired setting. You will practice general and medical optometry with a steady patient base and a friendly pace that prioritizes quality and comfort.

The requirements include a Doctor of Optometry, active licensure, and NPI; a TPA license is also required. Some local travel within MyEyeDr. regions may occur.

Qualifications

Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution.
Current license to practice Optometry in the practicing state.
National Provider Identifier (NPI) required.
TPA license required.
Clinical optometry experience in a retail, educational, or medical office setting is a plus.
Strong communication and patient interaction skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients’ vision and eye health and determine treatment plans.
Document findings in patient records and discuss care with patients.
Collaborate with office team to ensure high-quality patient experience.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered optometry in a structured environment.
Travel within MyEyeDr. regions as needed.
