Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking Optometrists to support the Florida Army National Guard's Medical Readiness Services. Positions are primarily weekend and on a part-time, as-needed basis across Florida, aiming to maintain deployable medical readiness for Soldiers and their families.

Responsibilities include writing eyewear prescriptions, documenting findings on military forms, protecting patient information, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Optometrist license required.
• Valid US driver’s license required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
• Provide at least two professional references with resume.

Responsibilities

• Complete eyewear prescriptions for Soldiers with vision loss.
• Document findings on Military approved forms.
• Safeguard all patient information.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and adherence to federal/state laws.
