Job summary

Acuity Eyecare Group in Washington state seeks a Doctor of Optometry to perform eye exams, educate patients, and support practice growth while practicing to the full scope of their license.

The optometrist will diagnose refractive errors, prescribe eyewear and medications, perform vision tests, and provide pre- and postoperative care. Ideal candidate will work part-time on Mondays and Thursdays.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited program.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conducting Eye exams for patients.
• Establishing long-term patient relationships through education and care.
• Perform vision tests and analyze results.
• Diagnose sight problems and eye diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care for eye surgery.
