Job summary

AEG Vision in Orlando, FL is seeking an Optician to sell eyewear and accessories, fit frames, and dispense lenses to meet prescriptions and measurements. You will guide patients through selecting frames, lens types, and treatments while ensuring comfort and accuracy.

In this role, you will build a loyal client base through outstanding service, process orders with the lab, and follow up on pending shipments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• One year of optician experience preferred.
• HIPAA knowledge preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient and explains product benefits.
• Develops clientele through outstanding service and referrals.
• Interacts with patients to select frames and lenses.
• Interprets prescriptions and creates lab work orders.
• Checks final product for fit and adjusts eyewear for comfort.
• Maintains store cleanliness and restocks displays.
