Job summary

Shopko Optical is seeking a part-time Optical Sales Associate to join our team in Duluth, MN. On-the-job training provided, no experience necessary.

Provide exceptional patient and customer service in eyewear selection, ordering and dispensing, and assist with pre-screening activities for exams. Responsibilities include processing medical billing information, maintaining frame inventory, and supporting the Optical Lab.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain license as required by state.
• Shopko OCE Certification required to become certified.
• Retail/office or optical dispensing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and patient service according to company and Optical Center standards.
• Analyze patient eyewear needs and recommend lenses, coatings, and frames.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and ensure proper fit with prescriptions.
• Order and dispense eyewear accurately and professionally; perform basic repairs.
• Assist patients with contact lenses, case histories, and screenings as needed.
